DINO OF THE MONTH

Parasaurolophus

Known as the "duck-billed dinosaur" is known for its distinctive crest on the top of its head. The crest contained hollow tubes, acting as a resonator to produce low-frequency, far-reaching calls. Beyond sound, the crest was used for species recognition and sexual display. It was not a snorkel, as previously thought.
