Kori Frederick

Founder / Executive Producer

Kori Frederick is an Emmy Award winning producer (shout out Turner Sports!), director and writer, AND proud “New Yorker” of 15 years! As a documentary director and producer, her work can be seen on Netflix, Vice, National Geographic, and as a show runner for Food Network, Discovery Channel, YouTube Originals, Magnolia Network, Complex, ABC, Condé Nast, and Animal Planet.

Her body of work reflects a deeply story-driven approach and spans the gamut from complex topics like social justice, incarceration, immigration, and gun control to joyful and lighthearted entertainment focused on food, family, travel, and exploration.

She founded Snappy Dino to create joyful, inspiring, silly, beautiful, moving work with all her friends. She loves dinosaurs, binge watching network television crime procedurals, her late grandpa “Snap”, sandwiches, Coke Zero, and making people happy.

Dino of the Month

Parasaurolophus

Known as the "duck-billed dinosaur" is known for its distinctive crest on the top of its head. The crest contained hollow tubes, acting as a resonator to produce low-frequency, far-reaching calls. Beyond sound, the crest was used for species recognition and sexual display. It was not a snorkel, as previously thought.
